Horse Connection - Developing a partnership beyond the norm

This is an incredible journey that requires you to understand the nature of horses and why they do what they do when they do it. With a solid understanding of why horses behave the way they do, the mystery unveils and the door opens to a new and incredible horse/human relationship based on mutual trust, admiration, respect and then ultimately mutual confidence will be the desired and achievable end result.

The definition of riding a horse is far more than just being on board and being a passenger. Understanding the nature of a horse is key to remain safe when handling them and to apply basic horsemanship skills and techniques. Mastering these steps will then open the door to understanding how to balance on a horse in movement, which is the first step to safe riding. Next is to learn the physical aids of communication from rider to horse that is essential for a safe and successful experience on horseback. Once that is mastered the transition into performance activities is seamless.
