Horse Sense - for new ownership, if you are returning to the world of horses after many years or you are looking to improve and understand more deeply the needs of your existing horse

There is a reason that this term is so commonly used in our English language and having horse sense is a good thing to have if you are considering acquiring your first horse or you are returning to the world of horses after many years.

Horseman’s Hangout provides consultation in all aspects of equine management. Assistance in selecting your perfect horse can offer confidence that your choice will more closely meet your needs and desires. Instruction in all aspects of from hoof care to exercise are important elements needed to properly care for your new friend and Horseman’s Hangout can simplify the ‘how to’ of a successful horse ownership and management.

Be sure to look at the Nutrition and Hoof Care pages for important information and services that are offered here at Horseman's Hangout. At Horseman’s Hangout we stock and distribute two products that we have researched and trust: California Trace Minerals and Easy Care, Inc. Their effectiveness is reflected in the healthy condition of our horses.

Marcia knows the creator of California Trace Minerals and brain child for this amazing product. Sally Hugg, also a mentor in Pacific Hoof Care Practitioners, focuses on the needs of the California horse as a result of some common conditions of our soils and California hay. This product focuses on Trace Minerals because the horse cannot manufacture these ingredients but because of our soil conditions our California hays are deficient in some of the trace minerals. Just a small deficiency can cause other serious problems.
